Sitting at work and feeling slightly frustrated.

Got me wondering, what is the most frustrating thing about your job??

I work in sales, and the most frustrating thing is dealing with assistants that don't speak English but insist on asking me a million questions to which they don't understand my response.

not getting out much, talking jibberish and constantky tidying up!

im a stay at home mum lol

One of the most annoying things is hearing how the company is signing multiple 10s of millions of dollars worth of contracts all the time and the company is far exceeding revenue goals only to hear that there will be no raises and that everyone needs to take a 5 day no pay vacation.

Another things is that my job is a contracted job working an IT warehouse and being continually told that I need to come up with "value adds" for the customer. I work in a freaking warehouse there isn't anything extra that I can do asides from what my job already consists of!

That actually sounds quite entertaining and quite similar to what I do :)

I feel like the majority of the people I work with are children. :nilly:

Dealing with people who don't care. They think showing up is enough to get paid. I actually care about how I do my job. If you don't, then leave. There are plenty of people who would love this job and the money that comes with it.

well i work on a locked psych ward for veterans. I think for me the hardest, most frusterating thing is to see the vets who abuse the system and use this place as a homeless shelter-or they come in drug seeking and yell and scream at us when they cant get their Percocet or Oxy's like they want.

Or you discharge them and they are back 3 days later for a few more weeks because they are homeless. We need more avenues for these vets besides taking a bed up in acute psych just because they are homeless or have a drug habit and they burned their bridges with all family and friends.

there has to be more that can be done-

I find that so sad to be honest, people who have risked their lives and then come home and don't get the treatment they deserve.

I'm sure there are few that try to abuse the system, but for the rest, I find it sad.

it is-i think thats what bothers me the most is that we do not provide adequate care for these guys and gals coming back with brain injuries, amputations, and PTSD and mental trauma from what has happened to them. For the life of me i dont understand why they arent made to take mandatory counseling when they come back-to help them cope and adjust to being a civilian again.

some of them are so jumpy (PTSD sufferers)they cant even drive a car without that fear kicking in and anxiety-and they just floor it and drive fast. its just heartbreaking.
