Most intelligent animal as a pet?

Hey guys,

In your opinion what is the most smartest animal (mammal, Bird, Reptile, fish etc) that one can own as a pet? Or something most human-like as far as emotions and intellect beside an ape. Something that is not extremely rare or difficult to obtain either.
