I absolutely hate spazz cases in the aquarium.. it just makes me think that the tank is small and it just shatters the harmony and gracefulness of fish in the water.

Can you give examples of nervous twitchy fish here?? Irredescent Sharks are one. They are very cool but they can be nervous and tend to smash their nose on the sides of the tank.

My frontosas are very very nervous for some reason....the rest of them welcome my presence....it usually means food.

I had a 12-13 inch frontosa once.. It was very awesome and fierce looking. Only thing i hated about it is that it would "spazz" once in a while for what seems like no reason at all. It would freak out its tankmates.

The prize has to go to my 2 TSNs whenever something bumps the glass, bumps into them during cleaning, or otherwise startles them they go absolutely crazy. They slam into the glass and them spastically turn around and slam into the other end ot the tank. Sometimes they even do a lap slamming their heads into the glass from corner to corner. Ever wonder why you see TSN's with their shovels all bent out of shape? I sure know why now, although mine havent damaged themselves yet (fingers crossed). ;)

I have had many silver aros that would freak out for no reason and I use to get so pissed...LOL I was pissed because all they were doing was hurting themselves.

Aros can be basket cases too... Funny because there are aros that are super tame.
I hate...Nervous Pacus. :swear: They would bang themselves on the tank so hard that their snout would fall off.

I just got a Saber toothed tetra its about 3" long he is a freaking spazzzzz everytime you even look at the thing wrong he freaks out and starts twitching and flying around the tank. I think he has ADHD.

My Oscar's been spazzing for about 2 weeks now and I can't figure out why. I wake up in the middle of the night because he's so damn loud!

Ohhh arows so awesome, we use to have one about 2 1/2 foot long her name was stella she was the tamest of the tame. We would walk up to the tank and she would come to the opened lid and we would put our hand in and pet her and she would just swim all around our arms and rub up against us expecially when we would clean her tank... But only my husband and i could touch her if anyone else would walk near her tank she would act like she was going to jump out of the tank just to bite them..... :headbang2 Her favorite food was White mice LIVE, thats the only color of mouse she would eat. IT WAS AN AWESOME SITE AT FEEDING TIME :headbang2 :headbang2 We eventually got rid of her someone wanted to buy her really bad and we hesitated and hesitated but we got $400 for her....... She went to a good home.. SHe was our pet shop mascot at the time... She was raised from a 2" baby to 2 1/2 foot long beast.
