just added another fluval 304 to the 75, so that 2 ac 110's and 2 fluval 304's, and two powerheads with a sponge on them, all of these plus an addition ac 110 will be goin on the 125 when its set up!!! and still have the ac110 on the 20g

I have a 180 gal with 2 x 2080s and I am still wondering whether its enough filtration. I have a Pearl Arowana with some Tin Foils and Albino sharks

The highest turnover rate I’m currently using is 54x per hour… (rated)

120 gph powerhead & 150 gph HOB on a 5 gal tank…

On my 150, I have 2 magnum 350's one with bio wheels, two penguin 660 powerheads with sponge filters and a FX5. The magnums have ceramic rings with the blue sponges. The FX5 has two boxes of ceramic rings in each tray.

Adding up the rating of all of this

Powerhead 660 170GPHx2
Magnum 350's 350GPHx2
FX5 900gph
_______
1940 THIS IS THE RATED GPH FILTRATION RATE

:P I know this is excessive... but the 5 gal is plumbed to a couple other tanks making the powerhead a necessity and I had the little HOB so I threw it on...

My 125 gal has 2 x Mag 350, 2 x AC 110, 2 x Mag 250 (HOT)... rated 2200 gph (17.6x turnover)... which I estimate to be about an actual 10x turnover... I'm very happy with this filtration (it also has a huge UV on it).

My 120 (4x2x2) has 2 x AC110 & 1 X Mag 350... rated 1350 gph (11.25x turnover)... Which I estimate to be about an actual 7.5x turnover... This filtration could be better... I plan to add a couple Hydor Koralia powerheads soon.
