most overly filtered tank thread!

nice. my water on my 55 tank is always crystal clear. i love it. im hoping to get some corals with it so im gonna have to have clear, clean water. i think most of my tanks have cleaner water than what comes out of the tap!

I have a 150 with an FX5 and a second one on order. I might also put a pair of AC110 on it so I can hide the heaters and change the peatmoss bags with out striping my FX5.

The bills keep me up all night

I don't get what's with the over filtering.
I'm happy with a fx5 and 405 on my 180gal

i dont see anything wronf with over filtering, 2 oscars and a pleco make a mess in there and the water is crystal clear, good water movement, and there can never be too much of a good thing, and my electric bills are still pretty low!

ahhhh. overfiltering is perfectly fine until the electric bill gets too high. lol

i'm setting up a 75 gallon sump for my 180 gallon tank
