Most personable fish?

I can always count on my bettas for some cute interaction, ala their lil wiggly dancing. Sometimes my 2 bamboo lady shrimps, when I come up to the tank, will "run" up to me and appear to observe me. Same goes for my ghost shrimps, tho that may be due to their funny lil alien- like faces and stalked eyes!
oscars are only fun when they are small. When bigger they are slow and boring.
oscars were my first cichlids.
I heard managuenses are smarter fishes. But FHs are the interesting too.
Plus if ythey are hungry, they will get excited when they see you.
except the stupid sissy ones.
Plenty of choices, but I would go with the managuense.
