Ryan, have you heard of ZenGarden? I have tried to get in touch with them but they do not answer email or know how to use the phone. I even tried to stop in at their shop but their listed address is in a gated community. I just want a stinkin' arowana. (they specialize in Discus' and plants).

Yup, Ive heard of them. The guys name is Dave and he is really shady. He runs his business out of his house and usually doesnt allow walk in customers. Give this man a call: 407-924-2789. His name is Anothony and lives in Apopka. He deals in used aquariums/equipment and usually has a very wide assortment of fish available too. He should either have an arrowana available, or know where you can get one. Just tell him Ryan the discus man recommended you, lol.

70 bux for a 10" chinese hi fin loach. Quite a few others about the $50 dollar range.
Personal rule of thumb, the more expensive the fish, the more likely it will die sooner than expected:swear:
Touch wood man. But it seems like our good old tiger barb seems to outlive its compeition.

$75 for my first widebar dat at 3". I knew the price was a bit high, but it had a full necklace and belt and I'd been wanting one forever. 1 week later and I found 3 more at the same size that I got for $40 each.

I also paid $50 each for my two azul babies.

EDIT: I totally forgot about my younger years. I paid $80 for a black cap basslet, $120 for a blue spot stingray, $40 for a horn shark, $60 for a miniatus grouper and $100s in other salt water fish. I think I also paid $40 for a red tail barracuda and a $50 for a marble cat.
