mothball who uses them?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i use them in my coffee for an extra jolt in the morning. its a good product that does more then repel moths.

He really should read the instructions/warnings on the box.

I only use them for anti-animal/bug use. Like packing away clothing of my girls from when they where baby's, my Wedding dress, etc. I put them inside the cardboard boxes, before I put in the bagged clothing. **I know you are not to breathe in the vapors from them. Like if someone has tuberulosis or troubles breathing to begin with, you are not to use them at all, can be fatal! And you never want to put them any where small kids or animals can touch/eat them, or constantly breathe fumes of them. I LOVE the smell of them!, but then again I love the smell of gasoline at the pump too!

Thanks for responses.

Kinda worrying me now. He's living with us for awhile and I have two kids, 1 1/2 yr old son and 8 yrs old daughter. The mothballs are in his room but smell is seeping through to most of the house. He even left some in one of the hallway closet but we found those and threw it away:ROFL:.

Check the ingredients. They used to be made with Napthalene and that is a major carcinogen that was outlawed. They now are made with something else but they are bad news. My father in law used them all the time until I had it out with him over there use. Very common for the older generations to use them instead of new alternatives. Just like when my generation grew up we just changed our oil in the backyard, dug a pit and buried it. Do not get caught doing it these days.

Best of luck to you
