We have an Abate course around here that I am considering taking, it's only like 50 bucks and they teach you everything you need to know. I have an 07' black and midnight blue gsxr 600 picked out, just playing the waiting game now.
I am not familiar with the Abate course, but I do know that any rider training is better than no rider training. I really encourage you to take the class.
In most states the MSF is really expensive. I took mine in RI... the state subsidizes the class as its a requirement for getting licensed. I think I paid $44 which is about 10% of the cost here in CT.
I know the florida test sucked with the damn right hand you turn but i passes on my 05 600 gsxr. it wasnt easy but also wasnt that hard just have to have good balance.
That's what I hear. I'm taking the actual driving portion in the spring when I get on my own bike. All of my friends have 1000's haha no way am I taking it on one of those.
