Motoro ate arowana

I used to keep a few discus with my rays.
A day later and they all got chomped up.

I have 5 silver dollars ranging in sizes from 3" to 5" in my tank with 2 12" motoro. I hope they'll be alright. They've been together with the rays for about a year now and all has been well. I have checked the tank at night time before and never noticed any hunting behavior by my rays. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I need the sd as dithers for my aro.

I have had 4 large discus with my ray for about 2 years and they are fine. I was stupid and tried to add two more that were smaller and at night discus sleep on the bottom and that's when they became dinner.

wow how big was ur ray and the aro?

The rays are about 10" and the Arowana was about 6-7". Thought he was safe since the rays stay pretty well fed and there is plenty of running room,

I lost a Armatus to my Ray. That was the only Tank Mate he killed off, unfortunately he was the most exspenisve. I still havent got over it. I have the armatus caracas in my freezer to remind me.

LOL!!! I kept my dead fish in the freezer and my wife yelled at me. Said I was a fish horder. Said she did not appreciate dead animals in her freezer so I took out all the chicken and beef momentarily and replaced it with live feeder goldfish. Hehe. She flipped! Not to say my marriage is the most stable, so I advise you to try this with cation as I can not guarantee a postive outcome. However, it was a damn good laugh when I did it.

4 discus, 80 each, 1 sexfaciatus (10 incher), 2 silver arowana (14 incher), 1 datnoid (5 incher), 1 parrot (5 incher), 3 prochilodus (8 inchers)........ upside is that they gave me beautiful pups!!

Great! Then I can't wait fr them to breed. I see now that I must keep them on this expensive diet. All this talk of earthworms is rubbish. LOL!
