Motoro is bleeding?

Did you take the shells off the shrimps? Just thought I throw that question out there, but a ray swimming up and down doesn't always mean something is wrong. My Male loves swimming up and down, that is also how I trained it to take food from my hand.

I don't know exactly where, but maybe he just compressed himself because I always see him inclining to the walls half bodied.(I'm not sure if you get this). Is this lethal? I don't want to lose him, he's my first ray and I only got him for a month.

Yes I take off the shells off the shrimps first before feeding it to him. I'm just wondering why only his right ribs are bleeding. There's no new addition to the tank, I just made a 25% wc yesterday, and today when I woke up he's bleeding already.

I can't help myself, I immediately put PIMAFIX to the tank when I saw that. They say it's a safe medication. And I hope it heals right away....

If it was a new behavior before this and done excessively then it could be trying to scratch itself on the surface and would be a sign of bacteria or parasite. Since it is in one lung i'm thinking along these lines. Like I said there is guys with alot more knowledge than me and may have some input.

That's what I was thinking. Why just that side? I would keep your eye on him.

I hope this thing is not too serious. Hope it's just a minor bleeding. I'll update you guys in a few hours if it gets worse or improve. I'm still waiting for some experienced raykeepers here to give their inputs.

Thanks. He's really cute, he got nice patterns and color. I hope this injury isn't lethal.:(
