Motoro is bleeding?

my rays were like that when i first got them, now they just spend the day digging in the sand. was the video taken when he was still new to the tank?
 
Yes the video was taken a month ago when I got him. The water params are ideal. And I don't think water is the problem here since it's a wound, not a burn.
 
I just fed him baby market shrimps a while ago. He's still eating normally, and is still active. It seems that the bleeding doesn't hurt. Any ideas on the cause and cure?
 
Hey guys he's okay now. It's not bleeding anymore. Thanks for all the inputs! I'm not sure if the PIMAFIX cured it, or the water change I made yesterday. He's back to normal now..:)
 
Did you actually see blood coming out of the gill slits? I have seen my motoros have red around their slits, but the redness goes away in a little while.
