no motoro for me then.
Don't be discouraged from the motoro ray they are fun to have you can even get them to eat out of your hand just be careful. When they start to get to big for you to handle or to supply an aquarium for them offer them to a zoo that where mine went as much as I hated to.

Buying any fish with the exit route being offering to a Zoo is a really bad plan, many Zoos are in undated with fish offers and they soon begin to refuse them.

Only buy any animal if you plan to care for it for life - you owe it to the animal.

water changes are way way way over rated ... if you have good bio filtration you dont need to spend all the time and effort doing them all the time ... i do about 20-40 gal a month in my 150 with 2 motors and 2 dats and never have a problem ... water prams are always great ..

4 x 4 is a great tank size for rays ...

and food can depend .. my eat massivore and blood worms and shrimp and night crawlers and i feed 3-4 times a week .... does not cost to much ...

I totally agree with this as long as the owner is honest about params.

Stable PH, No Ammonia or Nitrite present (tested at various times and not just once) and Nitrate under control - if all this is in check then a "freshen up" water change is all that is needed.

That said, if you water change regularly then the rest takes care of itself.

yes might as well add ... this is only ok if YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!!!

because some people over feed and under filter .. and dont care enough about bio filtration .. over clean there filters .. and so on .. so this is not what you should do if you are new and or ... do not understand how water filtration really works ..
