I just recently bought a Motoro stingray that is about 5-6" and i have notice today after a water change that he has the triangle thing on the tail where it meets the base. His forehead is also hollow. He isnt really swimming around much or eating much either. Maybe a little piece of bloodworm but not a lot. Does this mean that its too late? Or is the ray just really stressed right now? My ammonia and nitrite is at 0 and ph level is at 6.5

means the ray is very under weight.... get live black worms and/or red wiggler earthworms.... dose prazi pro as well.... also keep the tank warm (82-86) and dark...

Whats the differents between live bloodworms and live blackworms?
Most people think blackworms have more nutritional value

Are stingrays picky about blackworms or bloodworms?

Never fed either one, but if you can't find them live then get ghost shrimp. Haven't found a ray yet that can resist them. Once you get him eating good then try different types of food to fatten him up again.

Alright cool

how should you get the ray to take different foods.. not to steal your thread but it might be hlepful to you ..

So i got him red wiggler worms and he didnt eat that either. Usually how long does it take them to get use to the tank and finally eat?
