OMG IS THAT HIS MOTORO!!! I feel so bad for the poor thing
If that is your motoro in your 30 gallon then just wow, how can you say that thing is healthy! All I can say is WOW. Just shows you what kind of a person some people really are.

yeah that scar he got was pretty bad. He got a heater burn. What is wrong with the second thing you circled?

just so you know miles, **** happens and how was i going to know that he was addicted to sitting on that heater? That is an old pic but way to throw mud at me.... *****

probably the veins
it looks to be a real young motoro
it needs to settle in some before it can take alot of unintentional abuse
just my 2 cents
the heater burn will heal with good water quality which will be hard to maintain in a 30gal
try and keep him by himself if possible

that pic that miles posted was around when the ray was 3 months old, so still a pup, and still is. Born on december 23rd. I do take great care of the water, and never gets cloudy or nothing, and have ran tests on it. That burn happend when i got him, so it has healed just a bit of a scar.

I don't know Brent, he still looks kinda washed out and you can still see the veins in the disk like Miles pointed out.

yeah those are more recent, i can run up and take a pic right now if you want, trust me hes not bad looking like miles likes to think he is. That pic he posted MIGHT have been the first pics i ever took of him out of the bag. Who knows, ill take a quick pic.
