Mouth damage on my red wolf

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Fingers crossed. Didn't know it was shipped like this. Banged up from trip guessing.
If it was he should email the seller and see what they can work out cause thats unfortunate

It wasn't bad when I got it, it was really active and just had a little mark on its bottom lip. And just today when it swam out is when I saw the mouth. When I first got it all it did was hide. I'd say it got worse in my tank

Small update, it just vomited and sank to the ground. This is the most dramatic fish sickness I've ever experienced. It wasnt bloated when I left the fish alone to go do something else, but when i came back it got bloated and vomited.. what's that mean?

I've been talking to the guy during this whole experience. He's been helping me thru text

It just vomited again! Just did the "lifeless float" then darted under the same driftwood it was hiding under when I first got it. Me and my other fishkeeping friend are now stuck staring at the driftwood hoping it pops out all normal... this is our first time we've ever seen a fish vomit. Does this mean it will be fine now?

Might have some internal parasite that's causing discomfort along with banging its mouth more and stress from shipment. I've seen my fish vomit up food from eating too much but that's about it.. Best luck to recovery man.

Thanks, I just checked up on it and it seems to be hanging out in the same place and hasn't moved. I believe it's still breathing so hopefully by tomorrow I'll be greeted with it feeling better again

RIP man, sorry to hear that. I had my red wolf swallowed by a much smaller gulper cat before, he was an active aggressive little bugger.
