Well the house is found. MOney is bein put down tomorrow.
The pond is about an acre. Right now there is no plants nor driftwood in it. The water is nice and clear but the bottom is more of a clay bottom around the edges. I am not sure how well that is going to work for plants but I will figure something out. I was unable to figure out how deep it was as well. Before it gets cold I would like to be able to get in it and figure out how deep it ends up in the middle.
By the time the house is redone winter will be rolling around so i would like to be able to get it planted/ fenced come spring and then start working on critters. I do hope to pick up some large large driftwood pieces/ stumps to offer basking areas and places to dry out.
I will be putting a couple red ears in there just for the heck of it. I alwasy see people at the show just giving them away because they got too big but will definately need some kind of other critter / turtle.
Bring on the suggestions again ( now that I have a better idea) I hope to make it up there in next few weeks to get some pics of it.
