Mile High in Northern AZ, baby!~
I am moving a 20" PACU aprox. 25 miles to his new Home. All the decor from the tank has been removed. He is in perfect health. So far I have:

large lawn trash bags
20 gallon Rubbermaid tote
Oxygen bottle with regulator
Power head
and crossed fingers

Any and all tips and tricks would greatly be appreciated...Thanx ~Z:thumbsup:

Wow, That's a big Pacu! A little Stress Coat and that's it! You have the car converter for the energy supply to the air pump, right? Good Luck on moving that big guy, they can be very powerful and can jump out at anytime! :)

So just asking, How long did you have him for??

just a big rubber maid, make sure he cant jump out and put in an air pump. make sure its dark too, it will probably make him more relaxed, before you get rid of it can you post pics of it, i have never seen one that big.

Holy S$%#! 2 years is a short time! Good Luck on the Move! And Please Post Pictures of this Monster! :grinyes:

Just be sure you have a tight fitting lid and that you put a weight on it.

I planned on using 2 large garbge bags to get him out of the tank then put the bag in a 20 gllon tote fill it up with more tank water.
Then tie the string of the bag closed around the oxygen hose, load up and haul ass to his new home....

I hope the Trash Bags hold up. Are you getting someone to help you, the weight on that must be alot of lift. :WHOA:
