I also used a battery powered air pump. Never had a problem, I have found datnoids to be very calm when in transportation

He's is very calm indeed. the only large fish I have ever brought home that didn't try to bash himself against the shipping container at least once. I was surpised to say the least.

T1KARMANN Giant Snakehead MFK Member Sep 19, 2005 10,106 134 147 58 London UK Apr 14, 2009 #24 an hour travel is nothing no need for air pump the only problem you may have is large tigers have a very deep body so the water in the polybox/cooler needs to be deep which makes it heavy get a polybox/cooler just large enough for the tiger to turn around in then fill it deep enough to cover the fish also be very carefully when you catch the tiger as most nets will get caught up in the tigers dorsal fin or gills best to catch it in a plastic bag 1st then dump it direct into the polybox/cooler as the tiger will rip throw the bag in no time good luck tigers are a very hardy fish when shipping short distances less that 4 hours
