moving my monster silver to a real pond

whats the lowest temp a 30" silver can handle?

whats the best way to aclimate him to a natural pond?

should i drug him to move him?
and with what?
anything better then clove oil?

anything else i should do for the move?

this move is freaking me out the most of all my fish

Not sure on aro but my pacu, RTCxTSN, silver dollars and midas have done fine with the water temp going down to the mid 60's.

i'd say minimum 19-20 degrees CELCIUS.
how far is the pond?
if its not far then i'd say just net him and put him in a bag like how you transport fish home from the lfs.

pond is about 10 miles away or so

Moving 30" long monster is not a joke.

I wonder if you can move him in a plastic bag. I guess you would need big drum or something to relocate him to the pond.
