Taken a couple of minutes before. Lovely and underrated Hoplias; aggressive feeding and does well with tank mates (most of the time).

I hope he does, I like my Odoes better in one piece.

Edit: Oh and just like the Ery, I'll have to target feed him, the Odoes and SDs do NOT let anything hit the bottom.

Yes, yes it is.
A bit worried tho, cause the bag was a little flat, but he's alive, and just hit the water thirty seconds ago.
He's found a nice spot under one of the logs, and we shall see how long it takes him to get used to it.

Wasn't there something about knives and emitting ultrasounds or electric pulses that disrupt eachother, making them require much bigger space to coexist?

They won't disrupt each other. They will be aware of each other. They need space and hiding places so not to bully each other. Mixing can be an issue and keeping numerous of the same kind can lead to territory disputes etc.
