I don't think fighting will be a problem since I'm hoping that removing them from the tank and having no territory to dispute over will keep them peaceful. My jag has grown almost 2" in the past month though and he'd do some damage...

This way you won't have to worry about cycling when you get to where you are going...Hopfully the PH is the same where you are going. different is OK just the shock if there is a big difference...
good luck with the movie. I hope you dont lose any fish. Any by the way nice looking truck bro.
Fist thing I did was remove the 100lbs of sand and rocks from my tank...Any waste left in the tank will feed the filters during the trip and set-up on the other end...
I quit feeding my fish 3 days before the move. Took down the lights took out the heater and covered my tank with a light blanket.
I just put my Aros/Oscars/plecos in a large rubermaid with tank water and used my canister to circulate that...
I loaded my 50 gallon wet/dry in the truck and put the outlet to the inlet, filled it with tank water and let that circulate to keep my Bacteria alive.
Then I emptied out the tank the rest of the way loaded it and took off.
I just left the fish and the W/D and canister running while I set up the tank and stand and started filling with warm water from the shower
(take off shower head, put on hose fitting adaptor
[1/2" female pipe thread to male hose thread]
and the hose, and adjust the temp.
Remember to get some salt and stresscoat in there...
If the PH to the new water is close to the current water, acliment the fish like they were new and get them in the tank.
They'll be stressed but they'll be OK...
Just think of it as a very LARGE water change...![]()
Sounds good Steve,scubasteve06;1925956; said:Ok sheet is over tank and temp is around 79 still I turned the heater down a bit just because I know the sheet will possibly trap a little heat. I will give you all an update once I get my computer and internet up in my new house.

The darkness will soothe them before the ride in the dark rubbermaid. I duct taped the lids down so my Aros wouldn't get out, and Lord knows they tried!!
Good luck man and have a safe trip, drink lots of red bulls or whatever your stimulant of choice is...TTYL ~Zennz.
