Gonna make room for 8’ tank. Gonna put it where 75/120 are. Move 120 to where 60 is, put two 4’ tanks on bare wall where two 4’ tanks can fit.

Lots of fish, plants, gravel

Any suggestions welcome, or what not to do...

Was gonna get a pump and put as much water in Rubbermaid bins as possible.

Are you on a concrete floor?

Were you planning on sliding the existing stands and tanks to new locations after you've drained most of the water? Not sure whether the stands are knock down style or pre-assembled from factory.

Hopefully you'll have help to move tanks and stands, the more people the better it should go.

They are preassembled pets-mart special,

Ya, slab.

Was going to try to use furniture dolly to move them, it’s only 20’ or so....

Guess it takes 8-12 weeks to get tank built, so no rush it seems...

You're brave putting all those tanks on nice hardwood. I'm guessing it was already there before you decided to make it a fish room. Tile would have been better, of course.

I'm jealous though ... really wanted a 300, settled with a 180 (not that I'm complaining).

update :

Moved 75 today, not too tough solo...

gonna move 60 upstairs with wife’s book cases to make room for Black Friday 150 ?, and the two 75’s currently on the home built stand ( getting two 75g stands from p mart)

gonna push the 120g two feet to make room for another 120g next to it.... maybe tomorrow if I’m feeling spry or most likely next week...

Then big tank will go where mini fish rack / cat tree are...

Only slight 6”x6” damage to floor, need to run fans after spills more....

Progress! Got the 120’s where they go, need the stands for the 75’s on either side of the 150.... never had a 30” deep tank before.... different, thankfully I’m tall!
