in all my years of using prime..i just add water...add a couple cap fulls with the first bucket and off we go...never had an issue or had to wait to add water...

i think either way is fine... the only concern is when you move the gravel out, likely you need to do water change due to the dirt accumulated below the gravel...
personally i will move the gravel out first and do WC first rather than on the day itself
That’s what I was thinking I’ll move the gravel in the next day or two along with one of the 4 filters then do a WC on my 90g so the fish stay good with no gravel until I get around to moving them to the new place into the 125g with the rest of the filters. when I set up the tank I used the API stress coat water conditioner because it’s all my LFS had when i went there today. I’m gonna order some PRIME for the next water change. Had some issues getting My python to work on the kitchen sink in the house I’m moving into but I managed to get it to kinda work on the bathroom sink. Any place to get adaptors for different sized faucets ?
I would take the part of the Python you are having a problem to your local hardware or home improvement store and show them what type of faucet it is you would need connector for.
