Dang K koipie doll ,
That stinks that you have to get rid of your 6'x2'x2' tank. At least you'll have a 75g, that's better than nothing. Sounds like you're giving someone a very good deal. Good for you. I always seem to have to rehome my fish when I move to a new location for some reason or another unfortunately. GL with the move.

Yeah, it does suck...breaks my heart actually. That person is most definitely getting the better end of the deal. But that’s ok. I just want what’s best for the fish. I will be keeping my Sailfin pleco. He’s my favorite. Trying to figure out what else to put in the 75 with him. Would one Oscar be ok? Taking into account growth for both. Would the Oscar get depressed without the company of another? It will most likely go in my bedroom, so lots of human attention. I’d give it toys too. Or does anyone have other stocking suggestions? I’m a firm believer in not overcrowding.

So, I swapped out the 125 for 75. Kept the Sailfin pleco and am re homing the goldfish. Haven’t figured out what to restock with. I’d like a pair of something that’ll get to 4-5 inches, not fin nippers, and plecos will not suck on. Any suggestions?

Man, sailfins get huge, with a bioload as much as an oscar if not more. I would stay away from cichlids and look for something just in the top half. Maybe butterfly arowana.
