Mr. & Mrs. X - Wild Blue Umbees

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow... Thank you guys, I really appreciate the comments:) I forgot to mention the genetics being the deciding factor in what potential each fish has. Great care will only bring out what the genetics have to offer. And this strain of umbees are the best IMO. Mr. X is already giving the General a run for his money, and I know once these guys fully mature that the other strains cant compare to. I'm not just talking about my lil pair but all the umbees that come out of location X will be fantastic. I know Lopaka, Umbeeking, and Volcomstone are holding some and are just as good if not better than these two. I foresee a new era of umbees:popcorn:

fresh water predators ....How large of a tank are they in?

you plan on adding any photos to your profile. I know the video is out there.

Yeah sure I can add some photos to my album. I currently have these two divided in a 75 and will be upgrading in a couple months. But it's easier to keep clean and do water changes for now:) lol especially since I'm changing their water every other day

WOW!! these guys are fantastic!!! the freckling on these umbees are different from my umbees however, You're doing a terrific job keep the updates coming !! :)

Those umbeeking umbees look totally different from the standard type rio magdelena

Exactly:grinno: you are correct. Don't get me wrong the Rio Mags are very beautiful. But who wants to have the exact same thing as everyone else?;) I still love the Mags but this strain has totally caught my attention. Once domesticated from small sizes their body profiles could have a good chance of being similar, but since they are a variety the colors and patterns will vary:) i mean look at weedamese's compared to the mags and location x, all three are stunning and have different characteristics putting each in their own class. If I had room I would have each strain because wether or not the colors and patterns vary I still love all umbees:)!! And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's also nice to have variety.
