I don't think that's accurate. The max size according to fishbase.org is 26" TL.groovitudedude;4766298; said:I've seen a Mbu that was at least 30 inches long

Absolutely inappropriate.borgey;4766207; said:Right......... let's keep a 2 foot long fish in a 400 gallon tank... good job labago
No. Statements like this (bolded) detract from any point you were making. It's clearly not accurate. A fahaka does not reach 26.4"borgey;4766852; said:I've seen a video of a Fahaka that was easily just as big as a full grown MBU. I think it might have bee posted on the puffer forum if I'm not mistaken. So why wouldn't it be possible for a MBU to reach over 30 inches? I'm no expert that's for sure but I can def. see in some cases a MBU reaching 30+ inches in prime conditions.

i agree with clay
about tank size..
when i went to indonesia
i saw a person with 6 thats right 6 MBU and 2 fahaka along with lots of dithers.
His tank was 8x4x3
Filtration was some Chinese canister and a overtop sump with a approx 1000GPH pump.
the mbus were 24 inches with tail.. without tail around 16
he fed them everyother day and the water was crystal clear..
and i for one believe that nothing can be more delicate then a ray.
