You'd be money & time ahead to put your efforts towards keeping your nitrates below 10 ppm for HITH instead of all the vitamin research. Vitamins are vitamins. Clean perfect water is the key to curing HITH.

thanks My fish don't have hith , I'm just thinking of suplementing their diet. Since i've read shellfish can cause thiamine depletion in fish?

1 of my severums seem to have developed hole in the head i'm going to supplement with vitamins, i've saoked hikar gold pellets in baby vitamins, just wondering if its ok for the vitamins to get into the aquarium water?

Umm....but your 1st post said he did. So which is it?
And yes about the shellfish, a memeber named "Miles" did an excellent huge write up on it on this forum. You can probably find it by searching.
