I think Zoodiver nailed it when speaking about ancient us muscle and today's models.

What i understand from today's models is that they promise more than they give ( bar the high ends ) and do not compare with imports ( european, mostly ) of the same level, in terms of engineering and materials used.. This is what i hear from friends who live for cars.

I have always driven BMW as family and work, and Porsche for fun, and yes i love to drive a Porsche in a winding european road.

As to BMW being the best, it is not my opinion, however. I do not think it compares to Mercedes, on the same category. I think BMW are, among europe's best brands, the most dangerous. I allways keep it in mind.

American Muscle for the look, feel, sound and yes...smell, that's something you can't get with an import

And do you still get it sith modern us muscle?

Imports Sound like a can of bees.... besides a few great sounding imports such as the 2jz and the 13b ( any rotary in that fact)

:)
I understand.

For instance if you compare the Porsche specifics for the californina market, they transform them into kittens compared to euro models.

Thought the same applied to us cars, at leats in Cali.

I love American muscle styling and the economy of imports. Its too close to call. often I've had an import as a daily driver and American for occasions take a car from each category with similar Hp. and it is still an altogether different driving experience. If You're conflicted between the two, strive to get 1 of each. it's worth it.

I'm from the uk and would one day love a big muscle car. There's a Shelby down my road and the noise of it is so beastly, and after seeing all the us tv shows can't beleive how cheap u can get them for out there. I got a 370z at the moment and I do love it but the sound of a muscle car can't be beaten.
