My 10 inch Piraya

Most know the guy was going through a bout with gill curl-I have been working on getting rid of this-It's almost gone and the big guy has made a huge turn around in this dept.....Pics are crappy and dont my fish any justice here at all.....I dont run lights on this tank very often at all-Probably has not seen light for close to a year now...So the flash fruited him out a bit-Sorry for the quality-But here is acouple pics of the guy...

Only Piranha I keep now a days man-----IMO,Piranha's are way overrated...But certainly a neat species to keep....

I have had him close to the or around the 4.5 year mark-Bought him whe it was just under the 2" mark....It got neglected awhile back and got a case of gill curl-I havebeen working on curring this now for over a year...And results are going good-

He lives solo in a 90 gal standard tank.With 2 xp3's for filtration...

Thats pretty good size for being in a 90g. You neglect him? Do you atleast feed him once a week?

I have never neglected this guy-Previous owner did....This fish has changed hands several times between me and another guy----It will finally rest in my care....I have huge tanks available for this guy to live his life out in.......He will be moved to a 125 gal where he will continue to be a solo specimen....

He gets fed 2-2 inch shrimp every other day....Of course I vary his diet as well-But it's always a seafood diet he see's..
