Gorgeous fish, nice job turning him around. Beautiful coloration glad he is in a new home with someone who understands and respects him.

It's been a long on going process that is not easy to reverse.....But it's going well and hopefully he will be back to his old self in no time.....
Coloration sucks cause of the flash scarring (sp ) him.....So he's a bit dull in these pics...

one question you say its almost a year without lighting,
why? is it in a well lit room or what is the reason just wondering as i have 3 red bellys myself, and they have the lights on for about 8hours each night and there in my kitchen with the sunlight coming through in the day

I dont show pics of this guy very often at all....Once he is recovered and back to 100% health-I will start to show it more often...
I keep the lights this way cause he is recovering. Otherwise I have my actinics on him-I only run one 28 watt bulb above his tank-
I like a low lit tank...He is kept in my living room which is also a low light room...
