About details: Rio you point on my pride , but it s known in Thailand fish farming buiz that survival rate of few weeks born babies to attain maturity is around 10%. :chillpill:

Thai fishery and hatching system is experienced and well developed.
I contacted some professor at the royal departement of fishey, he said he is interested in my enterprise as he had try to raise Occelaris as a student (but they jumped off and die), and he is ready to exchange some Hampala macrolepidota for some occelaris. :headbang2

My dream is to Mix breed them to have magnificent colors and beam them up to you when you want some.

But first i am making my (Raising Pbass in recycled water in concrete tank) experience on occelaris then i ll go look for some adult Tems and Xingu. :naughty:

And if i can get money out of it good! it will help with electricity bills, feeders (tilapia), food for feeders....

Rio you are welcome my aussie asia pacific fishfarmer fisherman friend.

Ade i don t see the point ??

Hi,

Casualities count up to 34 today.

Lost 4 babies in filter tank number 3.
Made a sock with a net to hold on tubing from 2nd tank to 3rd tank.

Having an slimy stick on the net and tubing kind green algae invasion.

Had a peak of stinky and green water (here i found 17 dead babies) had to changemore than a half of water, had to use LAKE water.
Fish were happy and playing on surface afterwhile :)

Note about food:
Raw mackerel smells good but is no good for my filtration.
They do not eat the skin as well
Steamed mackerel is best.

Because i use water from the lake (and its parasites) i ll allow my self to introduce more glass shrimps.

I m feeling like loosing one level in water keeping but they have to survive...:irked:

Sounds bad, are you able to do autopsy? Whitespot? Greenwater = algal bloom. Why not introduce some floating plants like water hyacinth, water lettuce, duck weed to take up the excess nutrients?

Hi,
Introduced Live glass shrimps in the tank, approx. 1 1/2 kilo.

The water is so clear that we can see down to the bottom.:headbang2
The shrimps ate the algaes...

the water is clear now
