my 11" red belly pacu

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
pacus can be housed comfortably......it just takes alot of work. and dedication. mines in a 180 right now and my bf and i are in the process of plans for an indoor pond for him hes only a little over a year and hes 18 inches i think buiding a pond is definately the way to go. we were comparing prices between diy ponds and tanks, ponds save more $ in the long run and run less of a chance of leaking. but seriously get that pacu outta that tank before he just breaks through it one day.

zoo, i know you got a lot of people telling you that you are dumb, just remember the pond idea that i told you about! you can do it, and with minimal cost to you! It probably cost you more money to set up each of the 6 tanks than it costs to make your own pond big enough imo for him! Start checkiing out the indoor pond section to get some ideas you will be amazed at what you can do for very little money! I got my pacu in a 30 gal right now, but soon he will move to 100 gal pond, and then to 350 gal pond, then 750 gal pond, and who knows eventually! Just keep your fish' best interests at heart and get started on that first pond! that thing is gonna give you the time and money you need to make a bigger one! To everyone else I think most of us were in his shoes at one time or another. Anyone in here can properly house almost any freshwater fish they want to with very little expense comparitively if they get innovative and put their minds to it! So judge less and help more!
My sentiments exactly!!!!We should be helping, not attacking, even though you are right.:WHOA:
