Looks good so far man! How long have you had it running?

I had it set up in a 5 gal for about 6 months before. I just trnasfered it a few days ago. I'm looking to do some sort of CO2 here soon.

Got it all set up including the tank for under $100

Bought two rimless 12" cube tanks for $90 ($45 a piece)

Light from walmart $17

Fluval heater $17

Hob filter $10

I had the substrate (eco complete) and the plants, driftwood, and rock in another tank.

Gonna use the other cube for a salt reef for the wifey :)

fluval has a nano setup that comes with a mini co2 system. We sell the co2 systems separately at my LFS. It would be perfect for you.

Thanks for the tip man

I already have the small CO2 setup they sell at petsmart. I just haven't used in it since i took down my 29 gal tank. It used a plastic ladder difuser i was rather fond of. I was thinking about setting it up again but I'd kinda prefer a CO2 cylinder tank. I believe the one fluval sells with the flora set up is similar to the one i have already.

Hey ciclid starter how much does that CO2 system run? Does it use the two packet system as well? Sugare and yeast pretty much from what I've read

wow very nice. id say u def did a great job on a tank that size, looks very cool. makes me wanna go get one lol

Yea I love the size. I drove 4 hrs to pick up both tanks and visit some friends (but mostly to get the tanks, friends were an excuse to convince the lady). I just couldn't pass up such a good deal. I can't decide if I should set up another freshwater tank for some other species of freshwater shrimp or a reef tank. leaning more towards the reef.
