ya I fell ya on the HOB. I just can't decide what filter to buy. I had that one laying around so I figured i'd use it till i could come to a conclusion. any filter you'd recommend?

Its not the best, your HOB is prolly better but its cheep enough.

thanks hernandez and thanks to you too liquid plants. I was looking at that exact filter but in my opinion it isn't much more attractive than my hob. how long are the hoses? long enough for me to hide them behind my dresser? doesn't appear to be so :/
No, the hoses aren't long enough. I did modify it with my own hoses but the pump isn't very powerful and the GPH suffered.
