Moved things around a bit today. I've added a new root and thrown out a few of the branches. I have also decorated with some moss, a rock and made the tank a bit darker (lesser light and darker water)

...Cat litter! Natural product made of 100% burned clay - verry cheap.

Bought a big root the other day...and moved things around again What do you guys think? Is it too dark? The piranhas love it. They got a few more hiding spots now.

P's love dark. I generally use dim lighting focused in a particular area and the fish decide when they want to be on display. They're ambush predators so they feel more secure this way as well.
