Got the blue underwater LED moonlight in today. It is photo sensitive so when the lights in the room go out it goes on automatically. I will make a night video soon+ pictures and a full price rundown if anyone is interested.
 
Looks Nice to me - You may have addressed this But hows the Humidity in the room?
 
Humidity is 40% and I run a de humidifier. It a pretty good remake of their environment so the heater never runs. Gonna save me tons in my electric bill

wow, it is too dry for me ! I think there are some kind of paints that keep the wall from water and you can easy clean it when it get dirty !
 
ya there are high humidity paints designed for bathrooms. my paint will work for the walls. Im trying to lower the humidity a little bit more as there is a equation to deturman ambiant temp/ humidity leval but im a bit wasted r now to post it . lol anyway the lower the humidity the more effeciant the heating.
 
huge props man... Finally a fellow iowan to build an awesome DIY tank or pond....

i have plans on building a tank in the near future. I will be moving over by newton / grinnell area soon. we are going to build a new home and she already gave the go ahead so I can have the extra concrete poured in when the pour the foundation, for a big tank...
