I've installed the second set of Eheim filter and uv.

And I just ordered 5 bags with 100ml purigen and prime.

I already have a 500 ml bottle and the bag with aprox 350-400 ml in use at the moment in the fx6.

Now I will use one bag in each of my three filters, and have a set always on stand by when changing.

Ordered prime as I don't want to risk ruining the purigens.

But I'm curious to know what bleach is... Is it the one we use for clothes or is it chlorine?

I'm sorry my English is not good enough to know what bleach is..

Hehe, thanks for the info and compliment.

Still have a little cycling to do.

My nitrate readings were above 80 ppm today so did a 75% water change. And check again tomorrow and adjust. Will do filter check on fx6 on Saturday,

My ammonia and nitrite was low, so a week or two and it's done.

Still a bit schizophrenic about the choice of fish... As always.

But some red back angels and hujeta gars + and some bottom fish and shoalfish seems to be right for this tank.

I just can't do a tank without angels it seems... I've never had a tank without them, and these rednecks are quite rare in these parts.

Edit: my 5 gallon nano is the only tank I've not had an angel in.
All other tanks has at one point had them.

They are so fun to keep and good looking, and they have very funny way of looking at things. And they are easy to maintain and take care of.

My tank has finally finished cycling!!!!!

Still have to wait a week or two before fish is added.

I'm redoing the 190 gallon we have at work, my boss want it to look similar as mine.

So I'm ordering a big batch of fishes for the store, so both me and my boss can pick the ones we want and sell the rest.

So I will have a lot of specimens to choose from.

And it's a big family wedding next weekend, so I can't put fish in my tank then, even though they are available.

But at least they are being quarantined for a extra week before adding to my tank.

But doing a large water change on Sunday and giving my amano shrimp the honor of being the first welcomed inhabitant from my nano tank.

I can't wait to order fishes to the store!
I'm adding 5-6 different tetras that I like to the order to see if it's something I like. Browsing the supplier list and picking all the fishes I'm curious of is really good fun.

Tetras are really growing on me, especially rummynose.

And early next week, I'll check my canister filters, and add 3 bags of purigen in all of them.

I can't wait to put the amano in my tank!! Even though it's only one (will get plenty more) it will be a joy to look for it and see it eating my hair algae.
Which I believe was due to VERY high no3.

Might also add one of the three crabs I have into there as well, but not sure yet..

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.
