I'm excited for mine to start breeding...I think I made 2 bad moves so far. First I had 1 male & 3 females in a 20g tank. I got tired of waiting for a pair so I removed two females and left one. Of course...I left the only female that was half the size of the male. So a week or so later I decided to change the female out with one of the others that were equal size to the male.
So I think first I removed two of them too quickly, and then I think I probably should have just stuck with the original pair. But we'll see...when all 3 females were in the tank the male was getting beat up on pretty regularly. Now he's chasing the new female around, but it seems pretty pleasant. Hopefully they start breeding soon...
