are you sure a red tail shark isn't a predator? the other week i dropped a can of tuna in the tank, 20 seconds later, nothing but the metal!

I don't know if you ever saw a red tail, but mine is pretty aggressive. I think the guppies are ugly because they are clear, However I have room to keep them if they don't get eaten. . So should I not try brine shrimp then?My gouramis ate brine shrimp. The only reason I don't use brine shrimp anymore is because it is too easy for me to overfeed. I only have a small number of fish that would be interested in brine shrimp anyway. So unless someone else says otherwise, give it a try 
I don't recommend trying this, but my opaline gourami(4inch +) sometimes steals pieces of market shrimp from my bichir. They are smaller pieces that he manages to break off of the chunk I give the bichir. He manages to swallow some pieces that are bigger than I would expect him to eat.
