I took them all out and placed them in a 10 Gallon tank. It would be wrong of me to starve the other fish so they will eat these fish, and I don't want them in my main tank so they will have to live in the QT tank. the barbs seem to love the small ones that are almost the size of new born's, so I think if any of them have fry maybe I can feed them fry to the barbs.
Fry will generally get eaten quick by just about anything. Your fish should go for those with no problems. Adults though need a predator to get eaten. LOL
I bought 12 feeder guppies, for the fish in my 55 Gallon, I was excited to watch them chase the fish and get a treat. I dropped the fish in instantly a female rosy barb snatched one, no one else has ate any of the fish. Now I have 11 ugly guppies huddling at the top cornor of my tank, I wont feed any of the fish for couple days and hope they disapear.
i bet if you put your new feeders in a tank of their own.. give them some time and wait for fry... then toss the fry in yer 55.. you will get yer predator fix..
