What the f*** are you going to do with a gator?
Are you going to keep it when it is adult or make it into a handbag?
I would be worried about losing a finger or something worse!
You certainly know your stuff, but what would you do when they are the same size as you?

I see your logic :)

Btw I'm going to acquire the crocodilian from a fellow memeber if he agrees to my offer. :)

well here we live on 80 acres... we are going to build a 15*15*10 enclosure for the cuviers dwarf caiman this species only gets around 5ft.... and I am going to buy a large shed (might just build it) for winter... the gator is going to Rickey (he has 4 gators) to breed with his adult male gator...

Wow, you have so much land, why don't you build a very large pond and get some Nile crocs or SW crocs? You could even have an African biotope with that much land.

Ohh, you live in Oklahoma. I wouldn't want my crocs picked up by some tornado.

heheh  yeah. I guess just all the paperwork and permits needed for the larger crocodilians and the feeding bill would be HUGE!!! and the aggression would be to large for me... We acutally have a 2 acre pond...

What would you reccomend as to housing for a nile croc and spec. caiman? Not housed together but with mates of ther own species.

It isn't dificult. Just go on kingsnake.com and check the crocodilian classified section. :)

oh hey, are you saying how many you would put together? if so I wouldn't imagine having any more then 1 nile croc (to much danger,$,and food) but they are very social... same with spec. caimans, they are social and you can have 1 male & 1 female, etc. just not 2 males because they will fight... I got my caiman from naturecoastexotics.com
