My 22inch widebar dat

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If anyone else apart from me has had a tiger of this size in this size tank and felt it was right please step up or else shut up

Most of you guys have got little 2inch tigers in a 75gal so you know thing about the pure bulk of a 22inch tiger

Yes he is doing something right but there comes a point with every fish when it needs a tank up grade that time is now

If the fish sits in the middle of the tank it will have 4inch at the rear and 4inch at the front with 6inch above and 6inch below tigers don't bend like aros how many more times

It's to small no matter what you lot say

How many more times I have stated the fish is stunning so why not give it room to swim

Did I see decor in the tank yes so at that part of the tank with the catfish cave the fish has no room to turn at all

Get a ruler out if you don't believe me
But I have had a tiger this size in a tank bigger than this so trust me it's not right

What reason do I have to be jealous I have a larger ST that I have had for 8 years + not 6 and mine has a 8 long x 6 wide x 3 deep so why would this bother me one bit

I post pics of my tank all the time so it's fair to say I will never get as many comments as a fish no one has seen before that said most of the posts in this thread are me telling the guy his tanks to small or people saying its not

It's to small end of
Why are you trying so hard? You said that it's his fish, it's up to him, so who you try to convince? Bottom line, it took him less time than you to grow his datnoid to bigger and in better shape than yours, although his tank is not as big as yours. Maybe it's time to put one step back, and asking him for some advise on how to take care of a datnoid. Or are you the type of person who needs to give negative input, and in this case, can't say anything negative about the fish, and turns to attack the tank size, instead?

...we all know (or should anyway) that Dats are slow moving almost placid fish...we're not talking about Dorados here, plenty of room to turn.

besides, he's from Asia...don't all asian fish know how to Tokyo drift around corners?
:naughty:

If anyone else apart from me has had a tiger of this size in this size tank and felt it was right please step up or else shut up. So No one is allowed to comment unless they own a fish of that size? kind of arrogant of You to ask others to Not post in a thread that is not Yours

Yes he is doing something right but there comes a point with every fish when it needs a tank up grade that time is now. No Fish is truly created to live in the "small puddles" that we provide.

If the fish sits in the middle of the tank it will have 4inch at the rear and 4inch at the front with 6inch above and 6inch below tigers don't bend like aros how many more times. No one has disagreed with what You have said. The OP has done a magnifecent Job within his means. He's even gone as far to aknowledge Your sentiments. But this is what He has to work with

It's to small no matter what you lot say

It's to small end of it. We all Agree It's too small a tank, But it is absolutely gorgeous. Now do you think You can stop? You are coming off as a troll in an otherwise Awesome thread. Your opinion is respected. No need to beat a dead horse.Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

So he has grown his to 22inch in 6 years so did I before moving it to the new tank 2 years ago in which time it has grown 2inch+

Come on you lot should know my fish better than me the amount of times I posted it

Yes he's feeding it well and taking care of it well I am not disagreeing with that but there comes a time in most tank busters time when they need a tank upgrade that time is now

What I learned in one of my psych classes when I was still in college: unless you are in court or under suspicion of the law, it's always the insecure people that feel a need to justify/prove themselves to others....

Nice quote but this is not a court of law it's a pubic forum and we are all allowed our opinions

What do I have to prove to others
I have a tank big enough to house my ST for life in I have kept my fish for 2 years long than this

I am very proud of how I have kept my fish and the length of time I have had them

I'm not sure at what size the OP got his ST but I got mine at 2inch

I'm just passing on how I felt 2 years ago how I felt see my ST in cramped conditions and am advising him that he needs a upgrade nothing more then people jumped on me telling me I'm jealous as far as I remember if you are jealous its normally because you don't have something someone has

I have never dissed his fish only ever said it looks great as far as I remember

I wonder how many of you have ever seen a tiger of any kind this size in the flesh most of you are years away from even getting a tiger this size

I respect anyone who keeps ANY type of fish for 6 years and the attachment they have with it but if it's the first time you have have posted pics and someone who's has been throw the same journey with a fish as you tells you it's time for a tank upgrade you should take that message on board not shot the messenger

Like I said before, I like the Black Aro. If you’re going to take T1KARMAN's advise and get rid of the Aro I will take it off your hands. I agree with T1, the Aro just doesn't fit and you should give it to me ;)
So you agree their living in a puddle to? oh man! it never ends, ok come pick it up, i'm not delivering
