So I’ve took the plunge again and set up a tank to house an Arowana
After much debating on a blue base, an High back RTG or a 24k I’ve ordered the 24k Gold.
I love the RTG it’s probably my favourite but I’ve had one and grew it out to almost 2 foot so I wanted to go for something else
Got a great deal an a Malaysian 24k Cross back Gold
The tank is set up, I’m aiming for a PH of 6.4 to 7
Food will be morio worms that are first fed on carrot and once its grow a bit I’ll move onto crickets. ( fella in the shop said it’s eating shrimp and morio worms now )
Filtration is 2 Fluval FX6
Fish is coming on Wednesday so I’ll share some images
He’s going to start off in a Rio 450 and eventually end up in my 7x3x3 foot
He will not have any tank mates barring some pelcs
I’d love you all to share your own photos of your Arowana ( especially 24k ) and any helpful tips
I will not be using any type of tanning bulb
