Yes, 4 hours a day on the lowest setting at the moment as I have a completely black tank but this is only helping the gold I believe.

I have some old wives tails about bringing out the blue which I’m doing such as gut loading worms and crickets with carrot dipped in organic spirulina

I can’t find much that tells you how to improve the blue, it’s all down to genetics I suppose

yes I do believe it’s a 13000 and it’s certainly a UVA & UVB. we have a Arowana distribution here in the UK and he’s very reputable so I got both the fish and the light from him.

This is the brand of light it is
