nice, i got a 70" x 18" piece of 12mm plate glass for 150$ from st. catherine's. figured between 10mm and 12mm, i'd rather go for the slightly stronger one as i won't have any bracers separating it into 2 windows, just single long one.[/QUOT
For my 300 ply tank, I got my 93"Lx30"H piece of 12mm (1/2") glass for $240 from a place in Dundas, Ontario.

Hi there,

Been debating the idea of building a plywood tank but unsure of a few things i have been finding hard to get accurate answers to:

1 - How many 20l tubs would i need of liquid rubber to build an 8' x 4' x 2'?
2 - Would it be better to fiberglass the inside and outside instead of the Liquid rubber?
3 - How pissed off would my fiancée be if i was to have yet another tank?

I know the last question is a tough one, but with help on the other two i may be able to convince her i can build it without destroying the place )
