You need some actinic bulbs by coralife. Your tank is sooo beautiful but the lighting is taking a lot away from it. I would get 8 actinic bulbs.

When I built my overflows all of the water feeding the sump in pulled from the surface. There is a lot of fish waste that builds up on the bottom that the plants are not taking care of so I put an Fx5 in there to polish the water every once in a while after I use a power head to blow waste off the bottom. Just didnt see any reason to remove it once I hooked it up. The next overflow I build into a tank will pull some water from the bottom as well.
