By the way what do you guys feed your ball pythons? mine never wants to eat anything bigger then about 3 inches

i get a lot of customers with picky ball pythons, is he eating live or prekilled?

are you feeding frozen/thawed or live? these guys usually don't have a problem switching from mice to rats.

im feeding live

that may be why. try switching over to frozen/ thawed or prekilled mice. Your ball python may actually be afraid of the larger items since they can really hurt it if they bite back.

ok thank you ill give it a try

exactly what i was thinking, ive also heard of ball pythons that would only eat white mice/rats

Yeah, you can try different color prey, try soft furred rats.. lots of BP feeding strategies

sweet bro!!! i had a lizard once xD but thats bout it for reptiles.... is that iguana on the floor real?
lol, i have the exact same fake iguana! i do roughly the same thing. i put in some sucker's tent during a boy scout campout, sit back, and wait for the screams of terror and shock.:D the funniest time has to be when we all stayed up until 11:00 at night, everyone else was asleep, and i pulled it on a kid who (literally) won't go within 10 feet of an anole! hilarity ensued.
