My 4 plecos

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks!

When I was watching the tank earlier the L-114 came out toward the edge of its territory (still underneath the rock), and I got a good look at its tail in the light. I liked what I saw, very nice bright red color :D but I also think the L-114 is bigger than the L-14 now...its tail was definately bigger.

Haven't posted an update to the L-326 in awhile, and it came out briefly earlier to graze on NLS, so here it is (seems to be the slowest growing of my plecos as far as I can tell. I think its about 3" or less).

wow.. they are really growing!

I want to ask you some questions your tanks filteration... What filters are you using? and if your using any powerhead... I notice your water is pristine clean! so whats your secret?

Hey Bpags-how are the Plecs doing?? I've been really surprised at my L075's growth but my L114 is taking his time. I ordered a Medua Plec that should be here this week.
Was just wondering if your gang was doing ok!?

Ahh sorry for the late reply, haven't been very active on MFK the last couple months. Thought I had replied to this already :grinno:

The plecos seem to be doing good. I'll try to get some updates posted this weekend if I'm thinking about it when I'm home. I don't have any pics/vids on hand to post, so I'll have to try and take some new ones.

Your L114 is ACTIVE compared to mine! I've seen mine come out just a few times and as soon as he realizes the light's on he scurries back to his cave. Wow. I just got my Medusa a few wks ago & they stay small. I wish I had room in the Plec tank for an L14.....dang it. Wanting an L14 just never goes away :-(
What do you feed your L114 to make him wiggle like that?? lol

Well no its not that active :p that was one of the only times ive seen him leave underneath that rock to feed. Almost always stays hidden.

I think he's eating Ken's Earthworm Sticks in those videos. It's possible he had been underfed prior to that ;) so was probably more willing to come out in the light.
