so your telling me that an electric yellow lab thats over six months old is roughly a half inch? that is definitely healthy. considering he should be growing almost an inch a month. it wont matter how much you water change, there is not enough surface area in that tank to hold biological bacteria so therefore there WILL be ammonia.
